Matt Organiscak spends much of his time scheming about empowering everyday people with progressive technology. An entrepreneur at heart, he has been the Chief Operations Officer at IC3D since 2014. Organiscak leads operations, print service job quoting, and customer satisfaction at IC3D — lending his expertise in engineering and 3D printing to prosumers worldwide.

I think IC3D has really helped change the industry by allowing much higher volume manufacturing via 3D printing at a lower cost. Being able to solve problems differentiates us from other print shops.

Before graduating with his masters degree in mechanical engineering from The Ohio State University, Organiscak started a 3D printing service company in 2013 to design and make items from reproduction car parts, to tooling for carbon fiber part production. An automotive engineer by trade, Matt has been involved in many projects including the development of hybrid vehicles, off road vehicles, and the Chevy Sonic Rally Cross car, which made its debut at the 2013 X-games. These experiences have allowed him to channel his engineering passion into disrupting manufacturing techniques with large format 3D printing.

Organiscak has been at the forefront of the development of IC3D’s first printer, the Virago 700 industrial 3D printer, ensuring that IC3D could build a machine that withstood flexible and abrasive materials at high temperatures. The Virago 700 gives companies a stable entry into the world of additive manufacturing and enables them to design and produce their products themselves.

I’m most excited about the new equipment IC3D is releasing. It’s by far the biggest leap that we’ve taken when it comes to rigidity, accuracy, speed, and reliability, with reliability being the most important one.
